View grade control in Client

Grade control data is imported into a site from XECUTE Config > Site Management > [Sitename] > Grade Control. In Client, you can visualise it with the Grade Control tab.

The grade control data appear as rows in the grid with the attributes of the shapes listed in columns. The grid can be filtered, selected and sorted as described in the Activity Areas tab > Grid Control > Filters.

The grid layout and filter settings are saved in the user's XECUTE cache folder for each site.

1 Grade control
visibility		 Toggle visibility of all grade control shapes.
2 Key edges visibility Toggle visibility of key edges for the grade control shapes.
3 Toggle fill visibility Toggle the fill for grade control shapes.
4 Toggle grade controls as overlays Draw the grade control shapes last so they are not hidden by other Scene items.
5 Legend

The legend applied to the grade control shapes, options include:

  • Single Colour - Single selected colour for all shapes.

  • Colour Range - Colours taken from the colour range based on the field selected in the Legend Field dropdown list.
6 Legend Field List of grade control fields to be used with the selected Legend. Only available for Colour Range legend type.
7 Opacity The opacity of grade control shapes.
8 Annotations

Grade control blocks can be annotated in a similar fashion to Activity Areas. Annotation rules are created to configure the annotation text and appearance. The field names available in the Rule dialog are those listed in the Grade Control tab grid. For more information on Annotation rules see Annotations.

Click the annotation icon to make all enabled annotation rules visible in the Scene .

  • Click the dropdown arrow > Annotation Rules to configure a rule or create a new rule

  • Click the dropdown arrow > select a Rule Name to display the annotations in the Scene

Search - Search box (right hand side of tab) to filter the grade control rows on, applies fuzzy text search across all fields in the grid.

Convert To Activity Area - Converts the selected rows to activity areas. See Convert to activity area.
